George Levesque has lived his life right here in the Big Country.

He was born in Colorado City in 1972 and lived there until High School Graduation in 1990.

George graduated from McMurry University in 1996 with a degree in Theatre and a minor in Political Science. While in college he got his start as a radio disc jockey. After graduation George started an AM daily talk show. He did that show for five years.

In early 2000 George joined KTXS as a sports reporter. Three years later he moved to Abilene's most watched morning news program KTXS This Morning as the programs anchor.

George is currently anchor of KTXS News at Five and further serves KTXS as News Director.

George has won several Texas Associated Press Broadcasters awards for jounalism. George's wife, Sidney, is a reporter for the Abilene Reporter-News.
