Chrissie started her television career ten years ago at the ABC affiliate in Beaumont and is proud to be a part of the KTXS team. She joined KTXS in July 2007 as weekend anchor. A few months later she became a co-anchor with Wayne McCormick at 6pm and 10pm.

Chrissie was born and raised in Orange, Texas, and then attended West Orange Stark High School and Lamar University in Beaumont. She has received numerous accolades from the Southeast Texas Press Club for her coverage of stories, such as Hurricane Rita and Hurricane Katrina. Chrissie is also a published poet and an avid writer in many forms. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, dancing, playing the piano, singing, playing disc golf, photography, and fishing.
She also manages to find the time to volunteer for several charities including Children's Miracle Network, Altrusa International, United Way and Rescue the Animals.
