Former ACU quarterback Dallas Sealey will use his final year of eligibility to play at Division II Tarleton State in Stephenville.

Sealey tweeted his decision Sunday afternoon.

The Lawton, Oklahoma native was a two-year starter at ACU and threw for more than 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns for the Wildcats.

However, first-year head coach Adam Dorrel suspended Sealey for the final three games of the 2017 season for breaking team rules.

Sealey did not make the trip with the team at Northwestern State.

Freshman Luke Anthony appears to be the leader to replace Sealey heading into spring practice.

Anthony started against Northwestern State and Sam Houston State, and threw 11 touchdowns and four interceptions.

He did not start the season finale at Central Arkansas because of injury. ACU finished the season with a 2-9 record.
