RUM SPICED PECANS
- 1 tbsp. cold water
- 1 tbsp. spiced rum
- 1 egg white slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. clove
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1 lb. pecan halves
Mix first five ingredients together and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add salt and spices
and mix well. Dip pecan halves in mixture and coat well.
Place nuts flat side down on
greased cookie pan. Bake in slow oven (250 degrees) until golden brown (about one hour).
