ABILENE, TX —

Firehouse Bar and Grill is giving a free brisket sandwich to everyone who works for City of Abilene on Saturday. 

 "After the wild Texas snow storm of the century, We want to say thank you!" they said in a Facebook post. 

The restaurant said this is their way to show appreciation for all the hard work braving the weather and working to restore essential services.

The restaurant says they will require proof of employment.
