Almost 25% of both Taylor and Tom Green counties already vaccinated

As of March 9, over 50,000 people all across the Big Country and Concho Valley have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 

The two largest counties in our area, Taylor and Tom Green, are closing in on a 25% vaccination rate, according to Texas DSHS.

Taylor County:

  • 24,693 people: one vaccine received
  • 13,509 people: fully vaccinated

Roughly 23% of the population of Taylor County has already received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Tom Green County

  • 21,378: one vaccine received
  • 13,983: fully vaccinated

Almost 23% of the population of Tom Green County has been vaccinated at least once.
