UFC President Dana White says he wants to come to Texas following Governor Abbott’s announcement he would lift the statewide mask mandate and allow businesses to open 100 percent next week.

During a press conference this week, White said he planned to bring a match to Texas in the next two to three weeks.

“As soon as the governor of Texas said that, I called,” said UFC President Dana White. “Dallas said ‘no,’ and I’m working on Houston. So, see if we can get Houston done. I want to go to Texas ASAP.”

If the UFC does come to Texas, it could mean massive crowds with thousands of people in attendance.
