LEXINGTON, Ky. (SBG) — A four-year-old girl with scoliosis who was being treated at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center in Lexington for her 13th cast did something during her visit that those near her will not soon forget.

A staff member from the children's hospital told Sinclair Broadcast Group they were filming an informational video on Mehta scoliosis casting when they asked 4-year-old Clara about her hobbies. Clara loves to sing, but what happened next took everyone by surprise. The staff member says Clara just suddenly burst into a song from her favorite movie, The Greatest Showman, and they "just happened to be lucky enough to catch it on camera."

The staff member says Clara has been receiving Mehta cast treatments since she was 15 months old. The treatment helps to straighten the spine curvature caused by scoliosis as a child continues to grow, the staff member explained.
