The sea lions were stranded and starving when they were rescued, according to the center.
"Exciting release time: We released The Doorstep Duo and two friends today! Our partner @marineanimalrescue_85 rescued these stranded and starving pups. Thank you to everyone for supporting our work. Please continue to give," a staff member wrote on the center's Facebook page.
In a video that shows the sea lions' release, the president of the center explains how two of the sea lions were dubbed the "The Doorstep Duo" after they made their way to the doorsteps of nearby houses.
