Brownwood business claims out-of-state customer stole $13,000


BROWNWOOD, Texas - A Brownwood business reports it's out more than $13,000 after an out-of-state customer stopped making payments on items that were purchased.

According to a Brownwood Police report, Nelson Wholesale acquired a new customer near their Columbia, Mississippi store who bought $13,205 worth of pet food items.

The customer then stopped making payments on his bill, according to police.

It is being investigated by the Brownwood Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division.
