KTXS Forecast: Keeping relatively mild highs into the weekend

Friday afternoon will clear out to mostly sunny skies with highs staying around average in the mid-50s to low 60s and winds will drop to the southwest at 5-10 mph. Lows into Friday night will be back in the low 30s with mostly clear conditions.
Into the weekend, for Saturday, we’ll begin mostly sunny but build a little bit of cloud cover through the day. Highs are going to be in the low 60s with southwest winds at 5-15 mph. Into Saturday night the region will become partly cloudy with lows in the upper 30s/ low 40s and there will be a 20-40 percent chance of scattered showers across the Big Country.
Sunday and Monday will have highs back in the low/ mid-60s with partly cloudy skies. Lows through this period will be in the mid/ upper 30s and winds will be out of the west/ northwest at 5-10 mph.
On Tuesday we will see another weak cold front roll through the region. Skies are going to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the low/ mid-60s and winds will switch to the north at 5-10 mph. There will be a stray chance of showers through the day. Tuesday night winds turn back to the southwest, we keep the cloud cover and lows cool to the mid-30s to low 40s.
Wednesday afternoon highs will bounce back to above normal in the mid/ upper 60s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions and winds will be out of the south at 5-15 mph. Wednesday night will see lows cool to the low 40s.
Currently, for Thursday, it looks like highs will remain in the mid-60s with building cloud cover through the afternoon and have winds from the southwest at 10-20 mph. Into Tuesday night we are expecting a strong cold front to push through the Big Country. This will make skies cloudy, switch winds to the north at 15-25 mph and put lows in the low/ mid-30s.
