KTXS Forecast: Mild and dry Tuesday
ABILENE, Texas - A cold front moved through most of our area Monday. Most of the area missed out on measurable rainfall. One big exception was northern McCulloch County were severe storms brought around one inch of rainfall.
The cooler and mainly dry air should stay with us through Tuesday. Partly cloudy skies should continue Monday night. Low temperatures Tuesday morning should be in the lower 50s.
Partly cloudy skies and dry conditions are forecast for the day Tuesday. High temperatures should be in the middle 70s. Cloudy skies should move back in Tuesday night. Low temperatures Wednesday morning should be in the upper 50s.
Mostly cloudy skies are forecast for the day Wednesday. High temperatures should warm into the upper 70s with increasing southeast winds.
We are tracking an upper level disturbance that could bring showers and thunderstorms into our western areas Wednesday evening. Rain chances are forecast to continue for much of Thursday.
This system should weaken and move out early Friday and leave us with dry and warm weather for Friday afternoon through Saturday.
Warm temperatures for forecast for Easter Sunday. Some weather forecast models are suggesting a chance for showers and thunderstorms for especially our northern areas Sunday.
