KTXS Forecast: Warmer Wednesday weather

ABILENE, Texas - Temperatures were noticeably cooler Tuesday.  Chilly temperatures will continue Tuesday night before much warmer air moves back in by Wednesday afternoon.

Clear skies should persist Tuesday night.  Low temperatures Wednesday morning should be in the low to middle 30s.  A freeze is expected in low lying areas - especially in our eastern areas.

Sunny skies are back for Wednesday.  High temperatures should warm back up to around 70 by afternoon.  Watch out for strong southwest winds steady at 15-20 mph.

Another dry cold front should move in Wednesday evening.  Low temperatures Thursday morning should be in the low to middle 30s.

An approaching upper level disturbance should bring increasing clouds from north to south Thursday.  High temperatures should be in the lower 50s.

Mostly cloudy skies are forecast for Thursday night.  Light sprinkles or flurries will be possible especially for our northern and western areas.  Low temperatures Friday morning should be in the lower 30s.

Sunny skies should return to our area before noon Friday.  High temperatures will be cool in the lower 50s.

Partly cloudy skies are expected for Saturday and Sunday.  High temperatures should be in the 50s this weekend.
