Abilene man accused of robbing 2 convenience stores indicted

A Taylor County grand jury indicted a man accused of robbing two convenience stores at gunpoint.

Jesus Manuel Meyer, 31, was indicted on four counts of aggravated robbery.

Meyer is accused of robbing the Stripes on Loop 322 and a 7-Eleven on North Clack in December 2017.

He got away with about $700.

The clerk at Stripes told police that he recognized Meyer’s voice and believed he was the boyfriend of a former employee.
