ABILENE, Texas — An Abilene man indicted in November for inappropriately touching a 7-year-old girl was indicted a second time on Thursday.
Police say the victim in this case was even younger.
According to the indictment, a girl told police that Dwayne Howard Pomeroy, 40, pinned her arms above her head while lying on a bed and touched her "bad spot."
The alleged crime happened in 2012 when the victim was only six.
When questioned by police, Pomeroy said "yeah it happened."
He claimed he french kissed the girl and "probably" touched her in a way she interpreted as inappropriate.
Pomeroy said he stopped after being sober for a week and realizing what he had done.
Pomeroy was arrested in August and remains in jail on a $150,000 bond.
