An Abilene man killed in a head-on crash will be remembered Wednesday.

The memorial service for William Randall Webb, 28, will be held at 10 a.m. in the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith (5701 Hwy 277 South)

Webb was killed Friday in a three-vehicle crash on I-20.

According to his obituary, Webb graduated from Abilene High School and worked at United Supermarkets for 12 years.

He was most recently working as an independent contractor.

"Will loved sports and his favorite team was University of Texas. Also, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. But most of all, he loved being a father," according to the obituary.

The Tye Police Department said Webb "had a heart as big as Texas."

The department said Webb helped with supplies for Operation Brown Bag.

Operation Brown Bag is an effort by Tye PD and members of the community to make sure kids who qualify for a free lunch during the school year still get one during the Christmas break, Spring Break and summer.
