Butterfly in the Park Memorial Service

ABILENE, Texas — Friends and family members who lost loved ones had the chance to honor them in a sweet way Saturday morning.

The West Texas Rehabilitation Center's Hospice of the Big Country, hosted it's annual Butterfly in the Park Memorial Service.

It was held at the Festival Gardens in Nelson Park, across from the Abilene Zoo.

"I treasured every memory of my life with my dad and I'm sorry he's gone, but I know he is in a better place and I will see him again one day," said Marian Ermis, a visitor remembering her father.
