Clyde police are looking for two men wanted for trying to place a skimmer on a gas pump.

Thursday night, an employee at Thrifty’s Food Mart called police after seeing the men tampering with a pump.

The suspects ran when police arrived, but left their car behind.

Police found "suspected credit card skimming devices" in the car.

The men are from out of state, according to police.

"We do not believe any customers fell victim to these skimmers, mainly due to the employee at Thrifty’s being so observant and diligent in notifying law enforcement," said Clyde police.

If anyone sees the men, call 911.
