Police: Counterfeit $5 bills used at Abilene convenience store, 3 arrested

Abilene police arrested three people after they say counterfeit money was passed at a convenience store.

On Wednesday morning, police responded to the Allsups on S Clack Street between Hwy 277 and Southwest Drive.

The clerk said William Matthew Sivley, 30, of Abilene, paid for his purchase using two counterfeit $5 bills.

According to the arrest report, Sivley confessed to the crime and was found to be in possession of meth.

Police also arrested Amber Dawn Sivley, 30, of Abilene, after they say they found counterfeit cash and meth in her possession.

Zachary Taylor Inman, 23, of Sweetwater, was also found to be in possession of meth.

Police say two children under the age of 10 were endangered because the meth was in their reach.
