Grand jury re-indicts Abilene man accused of sexually assaulting autistic teen

Larry Michael Doescher (Taylor County Jail)

An Abilene man accused of raping an autistic teenager was re- indicted by a Taylor County grand jury Thursday.

Larry Michael Doescher , 42, was indicted on one count of aggravated sexual assault.

According to court records, the 17-year-old victim -- who has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old -- came to Doescher's apartment on July 23, looking for Doescher's son.

The son wasn't home, but Doescher invited her inside. He then forced her onto the bed, took off her clothes and sexually assaulted her, according to the indictment.

The girl told police Doescher was "humping" her and that "it hurt."

The girl also said Doescher told her that "is what she will do when she gets older."

Doescher was arrested Sept. 27. He remains in jail on a $100,000 bond.
