Scary moments Saturday afternoon at Shotwell Stadium.

A player suffered a possible spinal cord injury just before halftime of the Class 4A Division I area round playoff game between San Angelo Lake View and Wichita Falls Hirschi.

The injured player is Reggie Jackson, a junior defensive end for Hirschi.

Trailing 34-13, San Angelo Lake View ran the ball with less than :50 left on the clock.

He was taken off the field and then loaded into an ambulance.
