High speed police chase ends in south Abilene, manhunt begins

    Police are looking for a driver who led them on a high speed chase in south Abilene.

    The chase began when police tried to stop a stolen vehicle.

    The driver raced down Rebecca Lane, Buffalo Gap Road and Antilley Road.

    At one point, the chase reached speeds of 75 miles per hour.

    The high speed chase ended when the silver Nissan Versa -- driving on a donut -- crashed into a Dodge Charger near the Abilene Teacher's Credit Union on Antilley Road.

    A white male and white female got out and ran.

    The female was taken into custody.

    Police are still looking for the driver. He jumped over a fence on Dominion Court.

    He is a white male in his late 20's with tattoos on his neck. He was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
