Indictment: Abilene man, 44, had sex with teenage girl, ran away with her

An Abilene man is accused of having sex and running away with a teenage girl.

Trey C. Fisher, 44, was indicted for sexual assault of a child.

According to the indictment, Fisher ran away with the 16-year-old victim on Aug. 9.

Police tracked their cell phones to San Antonio where they found the girl and Fisher on Aug. 11.

During the investigation, the girl said she and Fisher started having sex in June 2018.

She said they had sex in Abilene and Clyde.

On the way to San Antonio, they stopped in Mason where they had sex, according to the indictment.

Police say Fisher told them he and the girl had become close friends over the past several months and "at one point, they did start having sex."

According to the indictment, Fisher admitted having sex with the victim in Abilene, Clyde, Mason and San Antonio.
