ABILENE, Texas — An Abilene man arrested over the weekend was held at gunpoint by two men until police arrived.
According to the arrest report, around 9 p.m. Saturday, Justin Eugene Davis. 36, walked up to some girls in the 2500 block of S 28th Street.
He started talking to himself and inanimate objects under a carport.
Scared, the girls ran inside and told their father.
The father came out with his gun and told Davis to leave.
At some point, Davis threw a ring at the the father and his neighbor who was armed as well. He told them he was trying to return it,
The men called police and held Davis at gunpoint.
Police say he resisted arrest and had a small amount of meth in his pocket.
Davis was charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
His bond was set at $8,605.
