KTXS Forecast: Cool afternoon ahead of continuous warm up through the week

    Good morning! As you’re getting up conditions outside are mostly clear with temperatures in the mid-20s to low 30s with north winds at 5-15 mph. We are dry, but you will want to bundle up when you head out this morning!

    Tuesday afternoon is going to see highs trend below average in the mid-40s/ low 50s as skies begin clear but slowly gain more cloud cover. Winds are going to drop back to the south at 5-10 mph later today. Tuesday night will see lows dip back around freezing in the low mid-30s.

    On Wednesday, temperatures will be back to normal in the mid-50s with mostly sunny skies and winds will turn to the south/ southwest at 5-10 mph. Wednesday night will see slight building cloud cover with lows in the upper 30s/ low 40s.

    Thursday and Friday will have afternoon highs above average in the low/ mid-60s with mostly sunny/ partly cloudy skies and winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 mph. There will also be isolated rain chances on Friday. Overnight lows through the end of the week are going to be in the mid-30s to low 40s.

    Currently, for Saturday through Monday, high temperatures will trend above normal in the upper 60s/ low 70s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and winds will mainly be from the southwest at 5-15 mph. There will be isolated rain chances early Saturday morning. Overnight lows through this period will be mild and in the mid-40s/ low 50s with slight cloud cover.
