Lowe's employees help to spruce up the Abilene Zoo
ABILENE, Texas —
Employees from Lowe's headed out to the Abilene Zoo on Monday to freshen up the zoo’s train station as a part of a community service project to improve the zoo.
Workers are expected to be back out there again to do more work on Tuesday.
The workers hope to paint a wall and do yard work around the Abilene Zoo’s train station.
“We try to get projects like this once or twice a year to help out in the community as a way of giving back to be involved with the community and help people improve,” said Glenn Weinstein.
