Person of interest in Levelland woman's murder jailed in Taylor County for drug charge
ABILENE, Texas —
A man considered to be a person of interest in the murder of a Levelland woman whose body was discovered in Abilene last year was booked into the Taylor County Jail on Monday on a drug charge.
Ricky Don Henderson, 57, of Levelland, was booked into the Taylor County Jail on Monday on a charge of possession of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
Henderson was named a person of interest last month by the Abilene Police Department in the homicide of 20-year-old Jeannie Quinn.
Quinn was found dead in a field in Abilene in April of 2018 with a wire around her neck.
A medical examiner called the position that Quinn was found in to be a "staged hanging" position and her cause of death was ruled to be asphyxiation.
Henderson is also a person of interest in the disappearance of his wife, Stephanie Henderson, who went missing back in 1993.
KTXS will have more information on this developing story once further details become available.
