An hour long police chase from Brown County to Taylor County ended with a crash.

The Brown County Sheriff's Department received a call about a reckless driver on the highway.

The chase started around 9:30 a.m. on Hwy 377 in Brown County after sheriff's deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop.

It ended about 10:30 a.m. when the Ford F-150 wrecked near Hwy 83/84 and FM 707.

The driver avoided three spike strips, but eventually hit a fourth, causing the right front tire to go flat.

You could see the right front tire was gone when the truck raced by a KTXS camera.

The Brown County Sheriff's Office said the driver, Matthew Lee Hudspeth, 18, will be charged with evading arrest.

Hudspeth will also undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
