ABILENE, Texas — The suspect in a murder at an Abilene sports bar murder was indicted on charges related to a drive-by shooting.
Eusabio Jose Perez, Jr. was indicted for deadly conduct.
According to the indictment, Perez drove by a man's house on Cedar Street in July and fired eight to ten shots at the home.
People were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Perez was out on bond for that drive-by shooting when police say he shot and killed Adrian Jasso, 27, last month at the MC Sports Bar and Taqueria on N 1st Street.
According to a search warrant, Perez was involved in a "physical altercation" at the bar and was asked to leave by employees.
Police say Perez walked out and then fired a shot into the glass door, hitting Jasso in the head.
Perez remains in jail on a bonds totaling more than $260,000.
