The West Texas Rehabilitation Center’s 48th annual telethon and auction raised over $1.3 million.

The money will help support WTRC’s mission of “providing the best patient care in West Texas, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.”

The Saturday telethon included live performances by Little Texas, Carly Pearce and Rion Paige, who finished fifth on Season 3 of The X Factor.

“We continue to be amazed and very grateful for the tremendous community support Rehab receives,” said President and CEO Steve Martin. “Everyone’s generosity means we can continue to provide exceptional care to those who need our services, regardless of their financial situations.”

In 2017, WTRC saw over 530 patients a day, from 157 cities and worked with 897 physicians at its facilities in Abilene, San Angelo and Ozona.
