A man Clyde police say led them on a chase from Callahan County to Abilene has been arrested.

Chief Robert Dalton said Albert Sell was arrested Friday morning at a home on Private Road 5279 officers with Clyde PD, Callahan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Sell is wanted by Irving police for robbery and kidnapping.

Dalton said Sell head butted one of his officer and a Callahan County deputy was bitten by a dog outside the house.

Clyde police tried to pull Sell over around 5 p.m. Thursday. But he refused to stop.

The chase continued into Abilene on Highway 80 and Judge Ely Blvd.

Sell eventually abandoned his car and ran off.

Sell is also wanted in Eastland County for aggravated assault and Brown County for evading arrest.
