Another very warm day for Wednesday

Temperatures warmed into the 70s Tuesday afternoon. This warm air should continue through Wednesday. A cold front should move through our area Thursday morning and bring back freezing temperatures Friday morning.

Mostly fair skies are forecast for the rest of Tuesday night. Low temperatures Wednesday morning should be in the lower to middle 40s.

Mostly sunny skies are expected for Wednesday. Watch out for strong south to southwest winds at 20-30 mph from late morning through the afternoon. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for our western and northwestern areas through 6 pm Wednesday. High temperatures should be in the 70s over our region.

Clouds should increase Wednesday night ahead of an approaching cold front. Low temperatures Thursday morning should be in the 40s.

We have a slight chance of showers in our area Thursday morning with cloudy skies to start the day. The cold front will bring strong north winds around 30 mph and fair skies should quickly return for Thursday afternoon. High temperatures Thursday should be in the lower 50s.

Clear skies and a hard freeze are expected for Friday morning. Low temperatures should drop into the middle 20s.

Fair skies and light winds should allow temperatures to warm to near 60 Friday afternoon. Freezing temperatures are forecast again for Saturday morning with lows around 30.

Another push of very cold air is expected to move in Saturday morning. High temperatures Saturday should be near 40 with partly cloudy skies.

Sunday morning low temperatures are forecast to be around 20 degrees. But afternoon temperatures should warm into the lower 50s with sunny skies and light winds.

MLK Day is expected to partly cloudy with highs in the 40s.
