Brady man arrested on 4 charges of aggravated sexual assault of children
BROWN COUNTY, Texas —
A Brady man remains in jail on four charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to Brown County Jail records.
Robert Barba, 33, of Brady, is being held on bonds totaling $100,000.
According to a press release on the Brady Police Department's Facebook page, police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of North Walnut Street in Brady on Tuesday for a domestic disturbance call.
At the scene, police officers identified Barba as having four existing warrants, each on separate charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to the Brady Police Department.
The McCulloch County Sheriff's Office told KTXS News that Barba was transferred to the Brown County Jail because there was not any room in the McCulloch County Jail to house him.
KTXS News has made several attempts to obtain the warrants used to arrest Barba from the McCulloch County District Clerk's Office and the Brady Police Department.
The McCulloch County District Clerk told KTXS News that she does not have the warrants back yet from the McCulloch County Jail and the Brady Police Department has refused to take calls from KTXS News for further information on Barba's arrest.
