BRECKENRIDGE, Texas — The Breckenridge Fire Department is looking for the people behind two fires that destroyed two vacant homes. One of the cases has been ruled an arson.
The most recent fire was just after midnight on Saturday.
Someone set a debris pile on fire in the 600 block of South Butte Street.
Embers from that fire caught a vacant house on fire, destroying it.
Chief Calvin Chaney said they believe the other suspicious fire was intentionally set.
On Dec. 28, fire destroyed a trailer house in the 1000 block of North Parks Street.
The fire department does not think the two fires are related.
A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in either case.
If you have information, please call Calvin Chaney at 254-522-5216.
