Cross Plains man indicted for inappropriately touching girl, 10, threatening her family

A Cross Plains man accused of inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl and threatening to hurt her family was indicted Thursday by a Taylor County grand jury.

Joshua Allen Harrell, 43, was indicted on one count of indecency with a child.

According to a court documents, Harrell molested an Abilene girl in 2014.

The documents say Harrell climbed into her bed and put his hands down her pants.

The victim said Harrell threatened to hurt her family if she told anyone.

Police say Harrell confessed saying he was "curious" about her young body.

Harrell was arrested in September and released from the Brown County Jail after posting a $50,000 bond.
