We have a Red Flag Warning for our area again Saturday until 8 PM. Winds around 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph are expected until then. Do NOT do any outdoor burning. A Freeze Watch is in effect for our northwestern counties of Kent, Stonewall, King and Knox for Sunday morning. Other areas may dip near freezing or slightly below as well so be sure to take care of your sensitive plants.

After a cold morning Sunday, our temperatures rebound into the upper 60s and low 70s. The best news is that our winds will be MUCH lighter than the previous day. North winds will be between 5 to 10 mph. Skies will be very sunny.

South winds overnight will keep temperatures in the low to mid-40s under mostly clear skies.

Monday, temperatures race into the mid to upper 80s as winds start to pick up through the afternoon. Skies will still be very sunny. Monday night, expect breezy conditions and milder temperatures in the mid-60s.

Tuesday looks to be the warmest of the week with temperatures nearing 90 again. Fire concerns pick back up Tuesday with dry conditions and winds into the 15 to 20 mph range with stronger gusts expected.

A weak front is expected to roll through dry Tuesday night, into Wednesday, knocking our temperatures back to the 70s.

Stronger winds will stay with us through the rest of the week and we could see some thunderstorms as we head into Friday afternoon.

Have a great weekend! -MM-
