Law enforcement releases mug of man arrested for threatening Coleman ISD kids

Lorenzo Hale

The Coleman County Sheriff's Office is identifying the man officers arrested for threatening Coleman ISD schoolchildren.

Lorenzo Hale, 52, is facing a charge of terroristic threat, which is a third-degree felony, according to Sheriff Les Cogdill.

Hale was arrested Friday after making a "serious" threat against the Coleman Independent School District.

The threat was concerning enough that Coleman ISD Superintendent Skip McCambridge requested an "additional police presence" at each campus.

He also allowed parents to pick up their kids early from school with an excused absence.

Hale’s bond information has not been released by Sheriff Cogdill yet.
