Man arrested after road rage incident on I-20 in Callahan County
ABILENE, Texas - Update: The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified Zachariah Earl Weber of Eastland as the man arrested after a road rage incident in Callahan County. He was arrested for a DWI warrant. It is currently unknown if any additional charges will be filed.
A road rage incident on Interstate 20 in Callahan County led to the arrest Wednesday of a 31-year-old man.
The man, who wasn't immediately identified, was driving a Mini Cooper when he allegedly pulled a gun and pointed it at the driver of an 18-wheeler.
The truck driver called police. Later, Department of Public Safety troopers were able to stop the man's Mini Cooper at La Popular restaurant on Pine Street.
According to law enforcement, the man was arrested on a previous warrant. DPS officials say a gun was found in the man's vehicle.
