BRECKENRIDGE, Texas — A mother of four was killed in a house fire in Breckenridge. Two of her kids were also injured.
Jennifer Brown, 37, was killed Tuesday morning when her house on County Road 206 -- near Hubbard Creek Lake -- caught fire about 2:40 am.
Breckenridge Fire Chief Calvin Chaney said two of Brown's four children had to be treated for minor smoke inhalation and burns to their feet.
The family's dog also died in the fire.
A fund has been set up at Breckenridge Interbank to help Brown's mother and the kids who range in age from 12 to 18.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
