TYE, Texas — Multiple people were injured Friday evening in a crash between a Jeep and an 18-wheeler.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. on FM 707 in Tye, about 3.5 miles north of I-20.
A witness tells KTXS that the driver of the Jeep had pulled to the side of FM 707.
For an unknown reason, it veered back into traffic and into the path of an 18-wheeler.
The Jeep was t-boned by the 18-wheeler and then rolled.
There were four people in the Jeep. Two of them were transported, according to the witness.
The Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
