SWEETWATER, Texas — A Sweetwater man is accused of threatening to kill people at church.
Police Chief Brian Frieda said Jimmy Don Farquhar, 45, was driving around churches Sunday morning and screaming from his vehicle about killing people.
Farquhar, 45, was arrested about 10:40 a.m. in the 1200 block Ragland Street.
Police found three knives in his vehicle.
“We are fortunate that we arrested him before he acted on there threats," said Frieda.
Farquhar is charged with making terroristic threats.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office and Department of Public Safety assisted with search for Farquhar.
