Two Howard Payne University baseball players injured in a rollover crash have been released from the hospital.

Second baseman Collin Davis was released from Brownwood Regional Medical Center on Friday. His unidentified teammate was released on Sunday.

Around 12 noon Sunday, HPU baseball tweeted "Both are now out! The road to recovery has begun now for ALL the Jackets."

The players were injured early Wednesday morning when their 15-passenger van rolled over about eight miles south of Rising Star.

HPU says seven baseball players and two staff members were returning to Brownwood from a weekend series in Hawaii.
