Jury sentences Brown County white supremacist to life in prison
BROWN COUNTY, Texas —
A well-known Brown County white supremacist was sentenced to life in prison Thursday.
A jury convicted Lynn Isbell, 35, Wednesday of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and the next day, they gave him a life sentence for his crimes, according to the Brown County Court at Law's Office.
Isbell was originally arrested in December of 2015 after he reportedly pointed a gun at a repo man trying to repossess his car.
The incident in question led the Brown County Sheriff's Office to obtain a search warrant, and upon raiding Isbell's home, deputies discovered 11 rifles, two handguns, body armor and ammunition.
Furthermore, law enforcement personnel found an underground methamphetamine lab that Isbell was operating under his house.
