13 arrested in Nolan County drug roundup, 1,000 grams of meth, heroin seized

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office arrested seven more people as part of a joint task force targeting suspect drug dealers.

“Investigators have seized over 1,000 grams of methamphetamine and 12 grams of heroin so far valued with an estimated street value of at least $62,000.” said Nolan County Sheriff David Warren.

A total of 13 have been arrested since September.

On Tuesday, the task force arrested seven people suspected of dealing drugs in the Sweetwater area.

  3. Lizette Ann Acosta, 33 - Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  4. Shawn Lucas Garza, 27 - Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  5. James Allen Parker, 48, - Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  6. Dusty Dakota Sutton, 22 - Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine)
  7. Benito Delacruz III, 17 - Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine)

Previously arrested

  1. Zachary Dewayne McDonald, 32 - Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  2. Sergio Salinas, 26, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  3. Jose Alberto Salinas, 20 - Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine)
  4. Matthew Lee McQueen II, 27, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  5. Sierra Cheyann Jones, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
  6. Mark Randall Murry, 55, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity

Most of them face 5–99 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.

Additional arrests are expected.
