Former Abilene youth pastor sentenced to 99 years in prison

ABILENE, Texas — Former Abilene youth pastor Jeffrey Forrest was sentenced to 99 years in prison by a Taylor County jury after he was convicted on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The sentenced was handed down Friday afternoon.

He will get 99 years and a 10,000 fine for each count, which is sent to run concurrently.

This comes after nearly three days of testimony.
