Narcotics dealer remains at top of suspect list on 'Abilene's Wanted Criminals'

An Abilene man wanted for the possession of two kinds of narcotics with the intention to deal them remained the featured suspect in this week's edition of "Abilene's Wanted Criminals."

Elbert Douglas, Jr. has been designated as the "featured suspect" in the weekly video sent out by the Abilene Police Department.

Douglas was previously designated as the "featured suspect" in the video that the Abilene Police Department sent out on November 14.

Douglas, 45, is wanted for possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

As the "featured suspect" of the week, a $500 reward is being offered to anyone who can provide details that could lead to the apprehension of Douglas.

A reward of $250 will be awarded to anyone with information that leads to the capture of any of the other six wanted suspects featured in this week's video.

Those suspects include:

*- Christian Angel Cortez, 21, of Tuscola -- robbery ($250 reward)

*- Toni Nicole Taylor, 25, of Abilene -- burglary of a habitation ($250 reward)

*- Steve Garcia Lopez, 52, of Sweetwater -- failure to register as a sex offender ($250 reward)

*- Brianna Nichole Venegas, 23, of Abilene -- injury to a child ($250 reward)

*- Autumn Randi Price, 29, of Abilene -- enhanced theft and possession of methamphetamine ($250 reward)

*- Dacqueri Louis Hopkins, 30, of Abilene -- injury to a child ($250 reward)

"Never try to capture any suspect on your own because they could be armed and dangerous,” the Abilene Police Department said in the weekly video announcing the suspects.
