Teen arrested in San Angelo shooting

SAN ANGELO, Texas - Police have arrested a 17-year-old man in connection with the shooting of a teen Saturday night in the College Hills subdivision in San Angelo.

Dorian Confer has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The 18-year-old victim underwent emergency surgery for a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Police said the victim was attending a party just prior to the shooting at a residence, possibly near SAC Avenue and Oxford Drive, when the victim "became engaged in a physical altercation with the suspect."
