One person was killed and four others injured in a wreck on I-20 in Eastland County.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a tractor trailer hit a Toyota Scion around 9 p.m. Wednesday on westbound I-20, about a half-mile east of Eastland.

Both vehicles went into the bar ditch.

The tractor trailer then slid, turned over and ended back on the roadway, blocking both westbound lanes of I-20.

A pickup hit the overturned semi.

A second semi then hit the pickup.

The driver of the second semi, Juan Rene Sanchez-Sorola, 27, of Pesqueria, Mexico, was killed in the crash.

The driver of the first semi and the driver and a passenger in the pickup were all seriously injured.

The driver of the Scion was also injured.

All four were taken to Eastland Memorial Hospital.
