Abilene man indicted for continuous sexual abuse of child
An Abilene man who police say admitted to having sex with a 14-year-old girl was indicted Thursday by a Taylor County grand jury.
Timothy Michael Unzueta, 38, was indicted on one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child and one count of indecency with a child by contact.
According to the indictment, Unzueta had sex with the victim multiple times between March 24 and Oct. 26 of last year. He also pleasured himself in front of her.
The girl said she reported the abuse because he did it again “after promising he would stop.”
Police said Unzueta “admitted the sexual abuse but said it had only happened over the past few weeks.” But the victim said it started when she was 10.
Unzueta remains in the Taylor County Jail on $50,000 bond.
