For our Friday afternoon, we will start off mostly sunny but pick up more cloud cover through the day. High temperatures will remain slightly above normal in the mid/ upper 90s with winds from the south/ southeast at 5-10 mph. There will be a 10 percent chance of isolated showers for northernmost areas. Friday night we’ll remain partly cloudy and cool to the low/ mid-70s.

On Sunday, the region will start to build in more cloud cover as a cold front moves into the state. This will make us partly cloudy and put our winds out of the south at 5-10 mph with highs in the mid-90s. Rain chances will start around 10 percent and build through the afternoon. By Sunday night the cold front will move into the Big Country. The cloud cover will remain, lows cool to the lower 70s and rain chances hover around 20-30 percent.

By Monday afternoon the Big Country will be partly cloudy with highs in the low/ mid-90s. Winds will switch to the north/ northeast at 5-10 mph and there will be a 20-30 percent chance of scattered thundershowers. Monday night the rain chances and cloud cover decrease and we cool to the lower 70s.

Currently, for Tuesdays through Thursday, it looks like the Big Country will remain mostly sunny with highs slightly below normal in the low/ mid-90s and winds will mainly be from the southeast at 5-10 mph. Overnight lows through this period are expected to be mostly clear and in the lower 70s.
